The Windows app comes from inside the portal.
The app works for a workspace: it is connected to yours with a code, and it uploads its runs there. So it is downloaded from inside your workspace, with its version and SHA-256 checksum beside it. The download opens there with the first release.
Getting started
- Sign in to the portal and download the app. It is a single program; nothing else to install.
- Start it on a Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer. It shows a one-time code.
- Enter the code in the portal to connect the app to your workspace. Only an owner or operator can approve it.
- Sign in to Microsoft with your administrator account and start a run.
What the app needs
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit.
- An administrator account for the tenant who can grant the read permissions once. A run asks for read permissions only.
- Outbound DNS to the Internet for the domain checks, or your internal resolver, chosen in the app.
- Optional: Microsoft’s Exchange Online PowerShell module, for the DKIM rotation state.
- For scheduled runs (Watch and MSP): a computer that is on, with the account that set them up signed in, and a Global Administrator for the one-time setup.
